Life in the sand

Scorching sun, mild air temperature and iced sea water; that’s the strange combination that could described the weather down South, in Algarve and my life in the beach sands those five days orbited around that fact.

Not the best of seasons but Oh boy!; Did I eat well, sleep well and read plenty in the company of my loved ones… What more could anyone possibly want?

  1. Your processing made these look incredibly “filmish”. Nice job!

Thanks, Trevor. I like the grainy b&w look… So raw and fresh!

  2. I especially like the photo of the person holding the magazine. It is an unusual perspective but really captures “a day at the beach”.

Yes… Desert skies, calm seas, fine sand and a good book…
      Thanks, Doug.

      Thank you very much, Jorge.
I’m using my canon ixus 300 compact as a black and white photo sketchbook and I’m feeling very good about it. It’s the stealthiest camera I have ever seen… a real wolf in a sheep’s clothing. When I’m feeling too picky or have something specific in mind, I´ll take the GF1.
I Think I won’t need anything else in the near future to keep me going.
      Saúde!
