Cycling wonders

Despite the obviously unpleasent warnings from my lower back, I decided it was time to put an end to my bicycle riding hiatus.

So much freedom exudes from such a small piece of metal and rubber…

From eastern Lisbon, one just needs to ride 10km further North to find ourselves in a typical rural landscape, amongst sheep, tomato and corn plantations…

And then back to “civilization”…

I understand all the back, leg and body stuff but cycling is such a wonderful feeling – as you say and I agree 100%. This summer I decided to cycle wherever I can and leave the car to rest – of course, that doesn’t mean that the costs are at rest but that is the price of our comforts, such as they are. Thank you for the lovely photos – especially the ones of the fields. Such a feeling of expanse!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your feedback, Marialla. I wish i could depend solely on bike for transportation but unfortunately, I can´t.

  3. Fantastic, I love these shots! Especially the one of the two bikes, seemingly romantically entwined; and the jet through the power lines. There are so many interesting photos to look at here, each quite different from the others.

Thank you, Melanie. The two bikes were put together like that to serve as a camera tripod for a group shot!
