Monthly fragments; March 2013

Life is about contrasts, isn’t it? Old and new, intimacy and public exposure, light and darkness… Reviewing the last photos I took made me clearly aware of that.

As a photographer I am feeling like a sort of a “stray dog”, jumping from one subject to another, much in the way of Daido Moriyama, although lacking his restless – and somewhat frantic – sense of purpose and resolve for documenting live. Sometimes I think I could use his “less thinking, more doing” approach, and get more pictures taken…
