Monthly fragments; March 2013

Life is about contrasts, isn’t it? Old and new, intimacy and public exposure, light and darkness… Reviewing the last photos I took made me clearly aware of that.

As a photographer I am feeling like a sort of a “stray dog”, jumping from one subject to another, much in the way of Daido Moriyama, although lacking his restless – and somewhat frantic – sense of purpose and resolve for documenting live. Sometimes I think I could use his “less thinking, more doing” approach, and get more pictures taken…

  2. Your B&W give me more colour feeling than real colour pictures. Thank you.

Thank you, Alexander. B&W expands imagination, I think.

      • On B&W you can see how light is working and by that you can judge about photographer professionalism. You are doing great! I love your work.

  3. Your thoughtful images are just monochrome gems. And they sure expand imagination like a wide horizon. Full of stories. That’s a gift & a craft. Thanks for that.

All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.

When an image can tell even a small part of a story, leaving the right blank spaces for the viewer’s imagination to fill in, a thrilling connection can occur… Thank you for your presence and words, Florian and congrats on your “hobokollektiv”.
