“Will be” professionals

Future chefs, bartenders, art performers, entertainers, robotics and health technicians, amongst other métiers, were all present at the technical mid-level courses fair that took place in my school. Some of these youngsters are my students.

As job expectations grow low for the near future, I sense most of them try not to think much about what lies ahead and concentrate in the “here-now” instead. Who can really blame them for that? Their energy never ceases to amaze me, though.

  1. My friend, 2 and 3 – put them in your “best of” folder. Do it now 😉

And keep up the great work…

  2. Yes, you may be right about fututre prospects in their own fields of study but there might be other opportunities – some related and some not. Time and life will present their own prospects as we all move forward. Onw can only hope that as time moves forward we will be able to move forward in the general direction of where we would like to be. Nothing is forever and nothing is guaranteed. Such is the nature of our lives!!

Right you are, but “moving forward” can be hard as opportunities are fewer now than they used to be. But then again: Ups and downs in the turning weel of life… Thank you, Marialla.
