Monthly fragments; October 2014

Disconnected glimpses, tinny little discoveries… microscopic pieces that only make some sense to me when they are together. Do memories  – even the insignificant ones – always struggle to remain alive?

  1. Love these B&W shots , presented with the coloured one in the middle! Every photo tells a story of its own!

There are those who say that color and B&W don´t mix in a series… I find it different. Thanks a lot, 76Sanfermo!

  3. So much variety – love this. Plus, it’s not easy to mix color and mono, vertical and horizontal shots. You pull it off like a breeze – well done!

For me, color and b&w are two worlds apart. They represent two different languages that tell different stories, even when the subject is the same. Sometimes, with a bit of luck, those two languages can complement each other in a set. However, in spite of being amazed by the color work of many photographers, for me and for now, the magic is in the mono…
      Thank you, Alessandro.
