Ericeira. 2016

These days, there are basically two things that interest me in photography: One thing is to discover the significance and evocative power of the humblest details I come across in my daily life. The other is getting to know myself a little better by seeing me from the camera’s point of view. Guess I can call it self-portraiture. Composition, technique and documental purpose are still important but not as much as I once found. I’m using photography as a tool to understand life and to understand what’s the part played by all those little insignificant details – me included – in the hole picture of existence. All the rest I try to keep it as simple as I can.
